Lesser Spiny Eel (Macrognathus aculeatus)

The lesser spiny eel, Macrognathus aculeatus, is a Southeast Asian tropical freshwater fish belonging to the family Mastacembelidae. They are uncommonly found in aquaria, but definitely a unique addition to your aquarium. They are very active and inquisitive fish.
